· My role was to upgrade their Problem Reporting application (PRP) so that it could support MS Office XP - 2010, change over the current Web Edit Pro software to CKEditor, and upgrade all Javascript, jQuery and CSS so that the application could run issue free on Internet Explorer 6 - 10, Firefox 3.6 to current and Google’s Chrome browser. I have also replaced the WebEdit Pro software with a CKEditor/CKFinder solution.

· Porting of the Biller Direct coldfusion application from their old Banner based customer care and billing system to Oracle’s customer care and billing system using XAI web services. This included replacing an aged Docucorp ebill presentment system with a

Kubra based presentment web service. As a side note the Docucorp ebill presentment was not decommissioned as there is a need to legally keep all documents for a period of 7 years, and as such any bills prior to the July 2011 go live is still being presented by Docucorp. Over time these bills will roll off the end of the presentment and Docucorp will eventually be decommissioned.

· Porting of the coldfusion Time of Use application from their old Banner based customer care and billing system to Oracle’s customer care and billing system using XAI web services.

· Porting of the coldfusion Customer Service Representative (CSR) application from their old Banner based customer care and billing system to Oracle’s customer care and billing system using XAI web services.

· Porting of all Java automation to C#.NET for use with the ASP.NET Customer Self Service Portal. This is the product that will eventually replace all of the Coldfusion applications.

· Porting of Telpay’s interface from their old Banner based customer care and billing system to Oracle’s customer care and billing system using XAI web services. This included porting to a new Telpay interface.

· Replaced their batch based epost mailer registration system with a real time solution.

· All of these systems are coldfusion based, and uses JBoss’s ESB system for controlling data flow between the various interfaces.

· I spent the last 9 months of my time with Toronto Hydro supporting and debugging all of the above systems after go live last July.

· Enhance St. Joseph’s bilingual eSubmitit Store Front system.

· Enhanced all Coldfusion, PHP,  DHTML, Oracle, SQL Server, and CSS code.

· Add in the client based uploading and resizing of store front product images using a PHP interface via the GD library.

· The whole purpose of the eSubmitit system is to allow the customer’s users and clients the ability to purchase product stored in either St. Joseph’s warehouse, or in other customer based warehousing. It also has modules available to allow online custom print jobs to be created, as well as many other online requests. The customers using this system range from Red Cross Canada, Canadian Heritage, Canadian Council for Tobacco Control, and many more.

· Optimize queries/stored procedures/triggers…, and perform all other DBA functions.

· Convert all Government CLF 1.x sites to CLF 2.0.

· Drupal CMS was used for all documentation

· Setup Moneris’s Credit Card processing within a secured web service.

· Platform: Coldfusion 5->6.1->8, PHP 5, Ext js, Drupal 6, Oracle 9i, PL/SQL, SQL Server 2005, Solaris 8, Windows Server 2003.

· Upgrade Rogers VPN user management system (UMS).

· Upgraded all Coldfusion, DHTML, and CSS code to enable full multi-browser support while leveling the whole sites look and feel.

· The VPN system is one of the products that Sprint Canada was offering, and is now a Rogers offering due to the merger. This system was using Coldfusion 4.x, and is now upgraded to Coldfusion MX 6.1. The database engine has also been upgraded from Sybase 11.9.2 to Sybase 12.5.4. Both systems are running under Solaris 9.

· The whole purpose of the UMS is to allow the customer the ability to manage their own users, for their segment(s) of the VPN network. The data is then used by an LDAP Bridge to make adjustments to the LDAP database automatically. Users are then authenticated by LDAP when connecting via VPN.

· Normalize all data structures, query/stored procedure optimization, and recommend appropriate database engine optimizations and tuning.

· Platform: Coldfusion 4.5 -> 6.1, dhtmlx, Sybase 11.9.2 -> 12.5.4, Solaris 5 -> 9, Java 1.

· Built all Coldfusion applications, and cfc’s to manage all back end data for the Brokers, Agents and Property sub-systems. This is a GIS, or SIM, based Real Estate system for looking up perspective properties to purchase. It allows you to view all the community amenities such as, schools, malls, and a variety of other points of interest. This is all built around Solaris, Coldfusion, Flash, Flash Remoting, and Oracle.

· Platform: Coldfusion 7 (clustered), Oracle 10g, Solaris

· Developed a Content & Link Management System for a call centre to assist the agents shorten call times and ensure accuracy of the fixes. They are supporting HP’s printer products. This is built on IIS, Coldfusion MX, Flash MX, and DB2.

· Developed an RSS Reader filtering system for another call centre which in turn fed the television monitors used keep the agents up-to-date on current world conditions, and events. This is built on Linux, Apache, PHP, and MySQL.

· Implementation of many local small business Linux, Windows 2000/2003 domain, and peer-2-peer based networks.

· Participation in a couple of open source projects, mainly involved with RSS readers.

· Network engineer/developer building Network Management applications and infrastructure support to manage the (AGNS) AT&T Global Network (Canadian geography). This network is built on CISCO routers, IBM routers, and Nortel’s Frame Relay & ATM switches.

· Gather and compile all user requirements to ensure that all content and sub-systems accommodated the intended audience.

· Built the shell scripts and configuration databases used to run the AIX based DNMS NMS and SNMPREC applications. The database application uses Windows 2003, Visual Basic 6 and DB2 UDB 7.2 using ODBC.

· Engineered the EDI bridge between Bell Nexxia and AT&T using Windows 2003 and Visual Basic 6. This bridge transferred live data from SQL Server 2000 (Bell) and DB2 UDB 7.2 (AT&T) using ODBC.

· Developed all Perl & shell scripts used to FTP the rawdata and configuration files to the GDG on the mainframe for processing by the SLR MVS application. This data was then analyzed to provide an accurate status of any of the ~1500 frame relay connected routers on either the commercial side or OPENNET side of the network.

· Ported all VB applications to Coldfusion MX, Solaris Unix, Apache, LDAP, and DB2 UDB 7.2.

· Built the automation to supply the International NPR Global Frame Relay web site with all client data so that the customers would be able to get a ‘Global’ view of there entire network world wide.
